Gas Pedal Vibe`s:
Nailed this down to torsional engine vibration transmitting thru out the chassis & cabs.
If you cant live with it, buy another brand, chrysler has no intention on fixing this issue.
A $500 dollar aftermarket fluid harmonic balancer (disgard the OEM h/balancer) fix`s it.

I kinda agree with the poster said the truck is so smooth and quiet you might notice any slight vibration or noise. My 2012, 5.7, 4800 miles,i never noticed anything until i read this thread. Then last night i made a stop, waited a couple secs and MAY of felt an ever so slight something. Personally, from the old days i think we're being spoiled by the new vehicles. Of coarse then again I just went from an 08 F-250 super duty diesel so i was probable used to a little more roughness and noise.

My vibration starts at 50 mph and continues until 60 mph. If I stay in those ranges then it won't stop the vibration. At 55 mph I get an awful whining noise. I have an 09' with 31k on it.

Just push the tow/haul button, and it will be locked out.

I think I have the same issue with my '09. ALthough I noticed mine would fade in and out. I was thinking it was wheel bearing.

I had a '96 Blazer that did the same thing. If I put it in and out of 4wd It did the same thing. I bought it back to the dealer several timed. The did thousand of dollars worth of work but never fixed it.

I tried the Tow/Haul and it doesn't do anything. The vibration and whine is still there at 50-60mph.

Default 2010 Ram Laramie

I've noticed a slight vibration in my Ram 1500 Hemi through the gas peddle. It has 140000 klms on it. I think it started about a month ago. Has anyone found an answer for it? From the posts I've read it seems noone as a real answer.

I`ve mentioned many times what the vibes are, in several different threads thru out the dodge/chrysler forums. They are torsional harmonic vibrations coming from the hemi engine. The vibes transmit throughout the cab & chassis, gas pedal and seats, floors, (& some steering wheels) at certain rpm`s. (mine was really bad around 2,100 rpm) I`ve made a couple large metal/rubber ballast`s for mine, installed them to each side of the engine block, 2 ballast`s on the "Y" pipe on the exhaust, all my homemade ballast`s kill the vibes entirely. I even installed a small exhaust ballast to my gas pedal to soak up any vibes that were still lerking. I even bought/installed a fluid harmonic balancer on the crankshaft. All my vibrations are gone. The engine is sooooo much smoother today. These vehicles today are made lighter, thinner materials, then they stuff a large horsepower engines in them, vibrations have to go somewhere to die, then end result, the vibes have no place to go but into the chassis & cab. You have to kill it before it reach`s the chassis`s & cabs. Has anyone ever noticed that nobody ever complains about vibrations with the 4.7...??? My brother has the same truck, but has the 4.7 engine, FAR smoother running than my 5.7 hemi. His truck has NO vibes at all. Another friend of mine has a 4.7, his is as smooth as my brothers truck too.

Ther are small rubber ballasts available thru chrysler to install on your exhaust.
You`ll have to look for them thru the 2005 hemi truck service bulliten.
They`re hard to find, but if i find the place where to buy them today, i`ll post the link in here.

Dont bother asking your local dealership about these 2005 exhaust ballast`s, they`re fuggin clueless and no help.

Yup, thats the one... thank you for posting it.
Most dealerships dont even know this exists.

Diesel trucks have frame dampers too, to absorb vibrations, you guys might want to look into those too.
I think they`re like $52 bucks each.

I tried to upload a picture of one in here, but as usual, dosent ever work for me in this forum....sorry

Go to this thread (#25) and look for the pictures in there, i posted these awhile back, but at least you`ll see what the exhaust dampers look like.
