I know exactly what you are talking about. Mine has the same thing. It's not the road because it's doing it on smooth blacktop. I don't know about feeling it in the seat so much, or the brake pedal, but mine does it at 1800-2100 RPM range, with the MDS not on.
I'm not too concerned yet, don't know if it's too much to worry about. Like what others have said, probably harmonics. It only does it at that time. I know what the MDS feels like and, Dr. Bill you are right, it is different.

Nope. Trust me, I have checked everything it could possibly be. It's there whether the radio is on or not. It's there whether in MDS or not. Plain and simple folks, it's a slight vibration.

I don't think it's anything serious either. It's even worse...it's annoying...lol. I'm sure after a couple years I'll get used to it and not even realize it's there.

I am fascinated by this thread...I just read the entire thing.

I also have this vibration and will throw out an alternate theory.

I think it's these horrible Goodyear Wrangler HPs. The feel is similar to a friend's Expedition with similar Goodyears (problem alleviated by a tire change).

Perhaps some colleagues here who have switched tires can chime in.

I guess I could drive barefooted and get a foot massage at the same time. I don't think it is the tires or 4.7 engines would have the same problem, Besides since it is RPM dependent, I get this vibration sometimes at 2-3 MPH, so tires should not be involved. I really think it is the harmonics of the HEMI. Maybe mine is alittle worse than others. I know that I have driven pre 09 hemis that did not have this problem. It could involve the changes with the 09 HEMI or even the chassis dynamics of the 09 truck when combined with the HEMI. I don't expect a fix for it.

I agree with Dr. Bill. Sometimes I can feel the vibration immediately upon throttle tip in so that rules out tires. In other words as soon as I give it gas to start moving. For me it's annoying because the vibration is most noticeable between 1500-2000 rpms. That's exactly where the truck runs on the highway, which I'm on 90% of the time.

Unfortunately I also agree with Dr. Bill and don't expect a fix for it unless the Dodge Engineers pay attention on here like they do on forums for the SRT vehicles and decide to do what's right and correct this issue. I won't hold my breath though. It's a shame. I REALLY like the truck. This vibration is keeping me from loving it though.

New to the forum, I will go and do an introduction after this post. I would like to pose a new theory. . .

I noticed this the minute I left the dealer, I have an 09 Quad Cab with the Hemi and 3.55, non-adjustable pedals.

I think it is a combination of the tires and the hemi. The hemi is drive by wire, the mount is different and doesn't have the cable and spring mechanism to keep tension, like the 4.7L does.

Going to the intro now. . .
