I'm not sure what you're talking about, but it can't be any better than a Kicker from any audio shop, which I'm guessing is cheaper.

Sobomaster,in the 09 Ram Accessories catalog they show a Kicker upgrade for speakers and also for a subwoofer with amp.Its suppose to come with all installation hardware just plug and play. Was wondering if anyone has bought one of these units.

I can only assume that this is the sub that comes with the Alpine stereo that's standard on Laramie's and such.

i didn't take it out.. the guys who installed my dual 10s did...

but from what i gathered there is actually bolts inside of the box.

so you have to take the actual sub out first... THEN remove a bolt from inside the box... then it should come right out

to take out the sub you have to remove two bolts on the right and left then left the box up. There is another screw at the bottom holding the sub down. Then unscrew all the screw on top.

I have the Alpine system with the sub. Playing my old classic rock, Ventures, etc, the sub doesn't do very much. As a lark, I flipped through the channels on Sirius and have to say that I was impressed when I tried some of the electric/dance channels as well as the hip hop stations. I hate hip hop, but that thundering (synthesized I guess) bass that runs underneath restored my faith in the factory sub. It isn't too bad. The system also seems to sound better with the fader pushed a bit towards the rear to even out the sound.
Needless to say, the bass is cranked as high as it will go.

I have two of these 12s in my gmc now and i will be putting them in my ram, i run them half power and they sound amazing and if i want to screw around i can crank them to shake the mirrors. I think ill buy a box, they are $100.

Does anyone know if this works with the 4th gen? My bussies 3rd gen they flipped the loop the rear seat attaches too so when flip the seat up it unhooks from the back of the cab then you can flip the whole seat forward so you gain storage behind the rear seat???? im guessing they are going to be the same seeing the under seat storage/ rear seat hasnt changed.

The box ill be buying is close to this one. Maybe ill make one instead after i get the truck and check it out
