I have the mopar bed rug. I bought it off of ebay for a good price and installed it myself. It seems pretty sturdy.. they give you a lot of velco.

I use mine with a bakflip so i really cant say if it flaps in the wind... but i dont think it would.

And yes it does have the rams head on the front like in the pic of big fishman put up.

They do last forever. Cleaning it has nothing to do with that. Over time the regular Line X can get a little bit of oxidation and turn a lighter shade of black. It still protects just like it was new, it's just a way to keep them looking really good. I personally don't thinkIt's also not something you have to do.

I have seen Line X truck beds have the living crap beat out of them and not come out any worse for the wear. Even if you were to somehow gouge it, there is a lifetime warranty on them and you take it back and get it repaired.

But that warranty doesn't cover discoloration. I have a black truck and would want a black linex liner, not one that has faded to gray after some time in the Texas sun.

They have the UV protected Line X with Kevlar in it that is fade resistant, but you pay for it. It's all a matter of what a person wants. Maximum protection with no worry, it's Line X hands down. Great looking bed with good protection, get the Bed Rug.

I will be the first to say that I like them both. My brother has had Line X sprayed in this past 2 trucks and has had absolutely no problems with them at all. Even though I have no experience with the Bed Rugs, I love the look. I just wonder about dirt working its way under the bed rug and scratching the paint if you really use it to haul things. Decisions, decisions.

Got my bedrug and Truxedo cover last night
Very nice product and fits like a glove
Install time for both about an Hour and that included cleaning the inside of the bed for the velcro

I have to say, after seeing how nce it is, I dont think I'd be willing to put loose dirt or mulch in there.

Only Negative, The rug did not come with precut holes for the factory tie downs. Im guessing if it cut the rug I void the warranty

What? No holes for the tiedowns? That's a deal killer for me if it voids warranty to cut them out myself.

It's interesting - the warranty states "Customer modifications may void warranty" but the directions tell you to use a utility knife to make cuts for tie downs

Has anyone spoken with the Bedrug folks about this?

Good call. I just spoke to wise industries. Any customer modification made due to an OEM feature is acceptable and will NOT void warranty
