Default 0-60 time Performance mods! List them

Well I shot a short video on my phone to get some kind of estimate 0-60mph. I estimate high 7's low 8's.

There was no tire spin off the line.
One thing to say is I hate the weak *** shift points!!

Looking for performance mods now. What can I do to make this truck quicker? I read something about flashing and ect.

I looked at the stock exhaust and it looks so choked up. I mean if goes through 10 different things.

Anyone else have any times?

Loosen your front swaybar at the end links, put a set of drag radials on the back, and put a small shot of nitrous on it. 75 hp should do it. If it'll take it without spinning, spray it right off the line. If not, roll out about 10 feet then hit it. Be forewarned, you'll have **** flying out of cubbyholes if they face rearward and are horizontal. It'll get moving quick fast and in a hurry.

If you don't want to spray it, loosen the swaybar (helps weight transfer) and put sticky tires on the back. Put a set of 4.56's in it and learn whatever driving technique your truck likes to accelerate hard without spinning. If you haven't already, try holding the truck with the brakes while running it up against the converter, then snapping your foot off teh brakes and flooring it moderately fast. Again, driving technique is key here.

My question as well. If so throw it in 4H and turn off traction control. Might help to put it in tow as well. See what RPM's the truck will hit with the brakes engaged before burning and keep them at that rpm before you start. As far as performance mods now there's exhaust, intake. Speed is relevant to what you can spend of course

no it is not 4x4. Lol I don't want to tell you the gears I am ashamed.

I did not get on the brakes either and try to rev it up. Just stumped on it from the start.

I do not want to spray, too new of a truck. I was just going to wait for a flash?? or programmer to come out first before I spend some $$ on some gears.

ECU, exhaust, intake would probably be best for you than. No need to be ashamed about your gears though..

any ecu recommendations?

Intake I just found one maybe xdi I have been reading on unless something else comes up in the next months.

Exhaust I am stilling thinking about what I should do.

Gears lol there 3.21's...didn't even know till I started to read on here and I went out and looked. Was I pissed or what. Just going to have to live with it I guess. That is why they are going to be my last option because of the $$ it will cost to change them.

I assume ecu will help the shift points?

Thanks for the help so far guys. I appreicate this site and all the help I get.

ECU would be a programmer and they haven't released any yet so i would suggest waiting as a custom tune would be pricey and risky.

I see no need to change your gears unless you're serious about racing, enjoy the better gas mileage you get on the highway over my 3.92's

Exhaust is easy, i had a shop do mine and it opens the truck up quick along with an intake but i would wait for more options and price drops... The intakes out now don't look too promising

And yes the ECU will help with fuel delivery and shift points
