I have an issue mine flicker right before they come on, is this normal, they come on after they do it, but its weird.

 

Sounds like there's either something wrong with the wiring as in loose/not proper connections being made.......or it's a cheap kit

 

It did not do it until today, all day yesterday it was fine, so maybe something is loose who knows, maybe a cheap kit, hell I don;t know what is good or what is cheap

 

My Kit should show up tomorrow I went the 55W route to hopefully eliminate any kinda flicker light out annoyances .. lets not kid ourselves any kind of HID in a reflective housing blinds the **** out of oncoming drivers and we simply don't care otherwise we wouldnt be buying them. I always adjust the headlights down a bit when I put drop in kits in reflective housings but there is really no way to get around blinding oncoming drivers

 

what would happen if we blacked out portions of the housing like that rjcc guy on here with the orange sport?

 

I believe the portions he blacked out were not part of the direct reflector that actually directs the light outwards so it wouldn't do much. The only way to not blind other drivers is to use projectors that have sharp cut off lines rather then scatter the light in all directions like a reflective type housing
