So get busy reading.

Go to http://www.dodge.com/en/owners/manuals/index.html
Already done, and the UConnect, and the GPS, and all the rest...... LOL

Default It's here

Dealer called today and my 1500 Laramie 4x4 Inferno Red two tone is here. He says it looks great and quality appears to be very good. It took just about 5 weeks from the day we ordered. Hope to be able to go see it tomorrow. I bought the Amp Research Electric Steps and lighting kit separately. So I'll have to take those items to my dealer for him to install. Plus he'll have to install the Bed Rug and Leer cap I purchased as part of the deal. It will also be interesting to see what if any new incentives will be made available since we ordered over a month ago. I've read on this Forum that another $500 incentive came out and 48 month 0% financing is available. We haven't signed or paid anything yet so I hope it goes smoothly. Cause I'm betting it will be hard to walk away from the deal now after I SEE THE NEW TRUCK.

Ordered 4-13. Have VIN, still in D1, in other words not started. It has a ship date of the 4th with arrival of the 7th (seems sort of fast), so if they are going to meet that they would have to start building by Monday.

Mine is still sitting on loading ramp in Centreville, Illinois waiting to get put on a rail car. My salesman wrote Chrysler rep, who said he would call distribution to find out what is up. It got to Centreville on the 6th.

It is a blackout week corporate-wide for all plants is what we were told. I work in the casting plant and the only time we shutdown is if all plants are down. If any assembly is still running, we are making cases and internal parts.

This was not correct. I was not in production as of last Friday, but am now. The North St. Louis plant was in production.

Here is some info for those that may have a truck on order.

If your truck order has been placed and you have your VIN, but it has yet to start production (D status if I recall) it is not going to be built. They will sit and be built as a 2010 model. At a minimum the lines will be shut down for 60 days.

If your truck is in production it is possible it will be completed and shipped. I will know for sure tomorrow.

This is up to the minute (OK 60 minutes). I just talked to the big cheese at my dealer who had just got off a conference call with this info. There is another call tomorrow to explain for sure what is happening with in production vehicles. I will update tomorrow.

Where is my truck? As of yesterday it is in framing, so I am still in the game, although it is the bottom of the 9th and 2 outs, but I have men on base!

SO you are still going to take delivery of your truck? Do you have any doubt at all? To be quite honest with you, if I had been in that situation I probably would have bailed out.
