Default Which leveling kit?

Which lift did you go with? I am looking at the Rough Country. Also what gears do you have? How does it do with the 35's? By the way it looks sweet!!!!!

The title of this thread was "clearing 35's thread". The answer is, 35s fit with no lift at all, just make sure you have the correct wheel offset and backspacing. I personally think the 35s look better with a minimal 2" lift though, which is the exact amount of lift a TRX model Ram 1500 comes from the factory with. A TRX with 35s would be the perfect truck for someone that plans on using their truck off road. Just bolt on a set of 35's, throw a Detroit Locker in the rear and you're good to go.

I went with the 2" billet spacer from ebay. I liked the build quality of the 2" billet spacer more than the rather crude front spacer Rough Country makes. I did use the 3/4" spacer that Rough Country makes for the rear suspension though.

I have 3.92 gears, and I can't tell much difference at all with the 35" tires in regards to power. The tires are much heavier than stock, and they do ride stiffer than stock. The ride quality is still very good, but it feels more like a truck than a car now. I'm certain the difference in ride is from tires, and not the suspension changes, and I can certainly put up with a somewhat firmer ride to get a set of tires that are going to be far more capable and far more durable off road than the stock street tires were.

Default Spacers.

Those Billet spacers look like the way to go thanks. You said those 3/4" spacers were from a Jeep TJ? Do you have any part numbers?

I don't have part numbers, but Rough Country knows what they are. I just called their main phone number and told the person what I wanted and he knew just what I needed. They had no problems selling just the rear spacers without the front spacers. The rear spacers cost $46. So for $120 you get a quick, easy to install lift. It took me 3 hours to install the front end, and that included the time it took to drive to Autozone to buy the jack stands. And it only took 20 minutes to install the rear end.

You need to re-set the tow after the lift, because it will tow in by about 3/4 of an inch otherwise. You can even re-set the tow by yourself using a tape measure. I have mine set at 1/32 of an inch tow in.

Mounting/Balancing, road hazard gaurantee, sales tax, waste tire recycling fee, and all the other BS that gets tacked on were included in the $2400 price I listed for the tires. That was an "out the door" price.
