The truck needs a 6 speed rather than a choice of differential ratios that all result in some sort of compromise. Other than that, it's a fantastic truck.

I agree. A 6 speed would be nice.

On another note, why keep the Accord if it's a piece of junk?

The OP's sig says 1500 Ram Laramie now, so I think it's safe to say that now, almost a year after he first asked the question, it has been answered...

As for me, my only complaint is that I don't get to spend enough time behind the wheel.

Well I have a big complaint,at 7200 kms. my motor went a defective part now all Chryslers will do is repair it but once they do that when the dealers punch in the vin # the truck is like the plague nobody wants it,listed for $53000 5 months ago it's been in the shop over a month of that time now they say all it is worth is $22000 because it has a replaced engine as of right now Chryslers is saying they won't do anything for me,I am not settleing for that answer I will keep you all posted on how I make out. That is not just one dealer either all of them in my area are saying the same thing .

A new motor shouldn't make the price drop that much. Besides, every truck loses value when you drive it off the lot.

Mine stickered for $42,500, but I paid $27,500. That was almost exactly one year ago and KBB trade-in is $25,500 after 22,500 miles. I'm pretty damn happy.

I agree that the price drops when you drive it off the lot but with my discounts I paid $39000 for my truck was told that because it is a clean truck if it were not for the engine being replaced it would fetch top dollar.I think $17000 for 5 months and 7200 kms. is a bit much.

How did you pay so much less off MSRP?
