I bought an 09 out of the showroom 6 months ago, and it is not dependable at all. The new styling is second to none, yet that means nothing if you can't rely on it. These are the issues I've had in 6 months:

Entire brake assembly replaced when failed while towing my 4,000lb boat
Both fronth seats came loose from the floor
Check engine light and ETC light come on spiratically
Stitching came out of back seat when enver used
Cab started creaking and body to frame bolts were not torqued to spec from factory
Had power driver seat track and motor replaced to to jumping and grinding

I have a Hemi TRX, the only good thing about this truck is the alpine system and touch screen dvd player. Other than that, no good comments.

 

Rant = ON

1. I hate that **** ant little cruise control arm. I use it all the time but seldom use the EVIC buttons or the radio control buttons on the steering wheel.

I wonder if I could switch some wires around and have the steering wheel buttons operate the cruise control.?????????????????

2. Why can't we modify the default display on the EVIC? I would like to see Distance to empty, MPG and Time ALL THE FRICKIN' TIME. Don't give a hoot about the messages and system info menu's.

3. Brake pedal height relative to drive by wire pedal height gives me shin splints.

4. Front bumper facia paint chips off if you just look at it for 5 seconds.

5. Silver painted dash components on each side of radio panel look like the shoulders of a transformer toy ON STEROIDS.

You really might want to get it looked at somewhere else. I live in TX where it's 100+ quite often during the summer and I haven't had any complaints about the AC. My truck is black too. Then again, my windows are tinted fairly dark and I usually use remote start during the summers.

 

Your truck must have been built by some disgruntled employees. That's quite a few problems. Sorry to hear that.

 

Love the truck, no complaints here. I've got almost 11,000 on it already.
