Complaints about your 4th gen?
I agree with this completely. Unless he took shortcuts, or damaged things during the repair, I see no reason why a competant mechanic would fear a car he fixed, even in the least. It's not like something faulty in the short block indicates there will be problems elsewhere.
Revert to the OEM program. If it still does it take it in, I doubt they'll look closely enough to detect the ECU was flashed.

I have 1 complaint about my 09 and most will wonder why.
I hate that I can not turn the dash lights completely off.
Don't bother telling me it's a safety issue because I consider it a safety issue by not being able to turn the lights all the way off and here is why.
I am a bow hunter and because I am a bow hunter I drive dark gravel roads well before sun up and after sun set.
I know from driving previous trucks that it's a lot easier to spot a deer about to jump into the road in front of me with all the dash (& other interior lights) turned off.
I enjoy being in the woods hunting deer with my bow but you can have that deer vehicle collision stuff.

So 15% would have been around $6000 I could live with that they are all knocking it down 3 times that much.I don't agree that anyone should have to bite the bullit and live with it car companies have to start to be more accountable for their products.I buy a new vehicle every couple of years for myself and am in the market for a new car for my wife, if they would have handled this better I would have bought from Chrysler again but probably not.I guess most don't agree and don't mind being screwed over but I won't,i've said enough thats the way I feel I hope no one else ever has this problem because it is frustrating.
Don't get me wrong. I agree that you shouldn't have to suffer because of a faulty engine. But that's the chance we all take when we buy new vehicles. It sucks!
It is most likely the tune that is causing the jerk and pause. As mentioned, try reverting back to the stock flash. If that doesn't fix it, leave it in the stock tune and take it in to the dealer. It's most likely the tune you're on though.
sorry i am done venting now.
If this forum is full of bunny & or tree huggers I'm in the wrong place any way.
If I offend anyone for using my truck for what I bought it for (hauling dead deer and hunting gear) that's unfortunate for them.
If you were slapped for wanting to shut off your dash lights I would have invited the slapper to come drive a couple gravel roads during chase phase of the rut about 2 - 3 hours before sun up & see if they have a change of heart.

It's illegal here to hunt from your vehicle.
I'm saying it's easier to see deer while driving down the road, to avoid hitting them, with the dash lights turned completely off.
But I would gladly come to Canada for a free bow hunt if your
offering ?
