Had mine for 5 months now and I still can't believe how nice this truck is. If I would change anything it would be the chrome clad wheels (plastic). Maybe one day I will change those, but for now just lovin it. No dealer service done on it since I got it. Well built.

Default Stalling

Has anyone else had a problem with the 09 1500's stalling out? I went over a small snowbump and it stalled. I drove in a little mud on a road and it stalled.

The only cmplaint I have with my truck is the cab pressure I get when I drive with just the driver side window down. It creates so much pressure that it sounds like a helicopter and it hurts my ears. If I crack one of the back windows, it fixes the problem.

I have not heard about anybody's stalling out. Did you take it in for service yet?

That is actually addressed in the owner's manual and is common in many vehicles. My wife's Honda Pilot is much worse.

I find less head room in the 09 Ram, I;m 6 ft 4 and the 3rd gen has more head room,
Hmm Im 6"5 and have tons of head room.

I also find the sun visors are way to close, even with the drivers seat all the way back.
Not sure what you mean by that, but seems to function just fine where its at.

I love my 09! No problems other then the 50 or so samll dings I had to have fixed on the hood due to hail, where the top of the cab only had 5, dang soft aluminum. Oh Im in the Austin area and it was done by the worst hail storm on record.

Totally agree with the sunvisor problem. When they are down it is extremely difficult to see anything. I basically have to bend forward to see the road underneath them! This kinda defeats the object of having them.

Other than that, powered retractable mirrors should have been included.

Furthermore,I wish the order in which the setup items are displayed in the evic was user definable.

I do agree with being able to order items in the EVIC. All I care to see are the miles till empty and avg. mpg.

Visors work fine for me, but I'm only 5'6" tall.

I agree on the power retractable mirrors. Right now I am using strap mount mirrors to tow with.
