Opinion on side steps
I know it is just a personal preference but. Do you like side steps on the truck? I mean is it just more for looks or do you use them getting in the truck. Some trucks I've gotten into they seem to just get in the way of getting in. Locally I can get a pair of stainless tube types installed for $325. Just looking for advice. Thanks

My wife needs them to help her climb into the truck and I like the way they look on a truck.
I had chrome steps on my silver f150...but really looking forward to adding chrome steps to my black CC SLT.

I usually get pipe side steps their sturdy and protect your rocker panels and as everyone els has mentioned for our shorter passengers also if you have the bucket seats you can get directly into them im 6'1 but I still have seat wear, were I slide in an out at plus depending on your color they improve the look of your truck.
I was going to get the body kit but I changed my mine im going to black everything out including rims so Im going with the black side steps this time.

I wanted to make a set of nice tube bars myself, but I need to go to Jersey and use Dad's shop. I just paid 214$ shipped for mine.
No steps for me. I don't like the way they look and they reduce clearance. I could understand if your truck was lifted.
I told my wife when she bought her H3 that if she couldn't get in and out without the steps, then she needed to get something else.
