Installer says 35% is best for ideal night visibility. $60 for the fronts/shaved.

I use to get my windows done from a place that would not go darker than 35% on the fronts. Always looked good!
Now I go to a place (way out of my way) that does a great job and will put any percentage on you want.
This time I went with 16%. It's a great match and I have no trouble seeing at night.
The real reason I go to these guy is they do window shaving.
The tint goes all the way up the window. No cut line! Looks completely factory!
They charge $15 extra per window to shave it. I think it's wort it and looks fantastic!

Professional
I put 30% on the front doors and 20% on the back doors and back window and have no issues seeing at night.
But just an FYI when I was younger I drove around with 5% on all my rides

35% is just slightly lighter than stock tint.

did you happen to ask the tint guy what percentage would match the rear?Originally Posted by bountyhunter
