275/60/20 Wrangler HP is 33.0 This is listed as the OEM tire size for the 20", not the 265. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Spec.j...3D76SR0WRHPOWL
The stock tire for my SLT - 17" is the Goodyear SR-A (265/70/17 )

So between the 17" and 20" you get another 1.3" diameter, so the truck would sit .65" taller.

They must have used more than one tire then. All the 17" SLT's around here had the HP's.

Could be because mine is a 2wd? But I'd agree, it's not uncommon for a manufacturer to switch between tires based on what is available. They only ever list the size on the window sticker not the brand/trpe.

I had them on an 04 Grand Cherokee Limited and they were horrible in the snow. They were better then the HP's tho.

I kinda like them. I've got a 2wd and about 12" of clay mud in front of my house right now due to road construction and a lot of rain. Switch off the traction control and it moves pretty well.

Definitely glad I installed the big mud flaps last week

^^^What are they doing to your road?

That would suck if you had a little car with street tires...

There is a grass alley in the backyard where my son is parking. They have been digging up the street for new pipes. It was packed and perfectly flat Friday, 3-5 inches of rain on saturday and we have our own personal mud bog. I'm sure they will be out to fix it Monday, but not until after I drive to work.

Have your son or someone film it for us.

Seems like alot of people get excited with this towing topic.

I was towing a 6500lb 30 ft trailer w/ my 2004 Hemi Durango and did it alot..a bit much I know but it did the job even in the mountains.

Trick is make sure your running a torsion load leveler for the trailers...unfortuantly your SOL on the fifth wheels.

In my opinion if you haven't bought yet go with a trailer because of this feature, PLUS given the fact we're 1/2 tons what kind of fifth are you going to get anyways. I see fifth wheels as just a bonus room when your going super large (I know they pull better but that aside). PLUS you've still got your box for quads or generators or whatever.

We have a 6850 dry 30Ft Mackenzie and this truck tows it amazingly. I haven't yet put the bags in yet but I am going to just because of the little bit of squat it has (headlights). I installed the Tekonsha P3 and it looks almost factory where I put it.

Reason I don't go diesel HD is for the simple fact that, for the other 300+ days a year we don't go camping Im a commuter.

These trucks have anti-sway,ESP,pre wired trailer connections w/ 7 pin factory, they were meant to tow so I do.

Also Im a Crew Laramie w/ 3.92's
