What was the cost for the kit, and is it adjustable in the cab?

Here is my setup. 31ft Jayco 6700# dry 950# on the tongue. Tows better than my 06 did. I installed Airlift 1000 airbags for $90. Well worth it. The truck has great acceleration with the camper on it. I didn't install the compressor with the bags. Just mounted the valves behind hitch. Takes 10 seconds to fill.

I didn't....Not yet at least. It was like another 200 bucks. Wanted to see if they even worked. They do work great, but as for the compressor, I still think it is just as easy to fill with a portable compressor or even an air tank. Not much volume needed to fill them. Maybe for convenience I will install one down the road.

My bags were also about 90.00 Airlift 1000 and I just ran the fitting to the hitch.

Are these "air bags" in addition to your stabilizer/sway bars?

I know this post has been hit pretty hard, but were any of you guys having any sway issues before installing this bags? I have a 30 camper and it starts to sway around 55 mphs with my dodge, if I hook it up to a 2500 it tracks straight as an arrow. I was wondering if that is because of the stiffer suspension or because the tires on my truck seem to have a really soft sidewall.

Either way the bags are going in next week so I guess we will see if that helps or not.

Are you running a weight distributing hitch? If not, then I'd do that before bagging the truck. Always amazes me how many people tow around those big wind catching trailers without a WD hitch and sway control.
