I checked the last 8 digits of my VIN on dodge's website and there were no recalls or anything mentioned. How do you check the RRTs or would those show up as well on their site based on VIN input?

Thanks,
Jason

That's what I took mine in for, but they adjusted it and it came out perfect. This was before the RRT.

That squeak or creaking noise was annoying, now my truck is nice and quiet.

only us employees have access to that info, it comes up on the same screen as your remaining warranty, service contract info... the dealer would be able to tell you. call or go in and give your vin.

so i was bored yesterday, decided to look up ALL RRT's for everything. found a few more for the new rams. didnt know about them cause none of our dealer inventory is affected, so the info isnt readily available for us. theyre older ones, and most likely all affected vehicles fixed. heres what i found:
08-071--flash cluster for odometer issue
08-093--non-memory power pedals wont adjust. restore vehicle config through TIPM
08-081--crew cabs w/ sunroof. sunroof drain tubes may have too much slack. check drain tubes & reposition if necessary.
08-077--sirius inop due to initial subscription set to less than 1 yr. contact sirius & reactivate

Reading this posting I am reading about basically petty problems. Nothing really so far has been anything that I would call a quality issue. You know if a screw is loose just tighten it,if a problem is maybe the screw is stripped then you have an issue. I personally think all these trucks need to be repainted I haven't seen a good paint job other thanon the white and silver cuz you can't see it but on the shiney darker colours they all look orange peeled and even dry in some areas. But will it be better if Icomplain, they will say it meets their standards and will not paint it. Been there before. I guess I just expect a good paint job when my vehicle lists for 45 g's.
Loose screws small adjustments that I can do, is not worth the effort to bother going to the dealer unless a safety issue could become of it for sure report it so other won't get hurt.

There is absolutly nothing wrong with my paint job, I've washed it by hand several times now and have not noticed any defects or orange peel.

My white 09 has dirt in the paint and the beginning of a run or "curtain" below the left tail light.

My stone white has specs orange specs in the paint on the hood as well as on the bumper below the grill and a few places under the hood on the top of the fenders as well as the orange peel.
The dealer said they would try and compound it out. Ill wait to see the results.
Would they repaint if pushed ??
Would you want a new truck that has been repainted or live with defective paint at the risk if rust problems down the line.....
