I worked in car audio for years with Circuit City when I was younger. I'm a huge fan of sound QUALITY, not booming bass anymore. The stock setup sounds great, but it is lacking. As far as roof speakers, I think there is a built in sound bar.

the sounds bar is on the dash inbetween the two corner speakers. I have the upgraded system, but I don't know where the last 2 speakers are. I haven't really looked, but I haven't seen them either. I know there are 2 kick panel speakers in the front, 2 speakers in the corners of the dash, the center speaker on the dash and obviously 2 speakers in the doors in the back. Where are the other 2 speakers at that I'm missing? I guess I could just go out and look, but I'm at work. haha

I just went to make sure. 4 in the doors, 3 in dash, 2 in roof sound bar.

If you dont see them you dont have them. The roof speakers are right above the rear passengers heads

I would have never ordered the upgraded sound if it was a stand alone option. I ordered the Sport Premium package and it included the upgraded sound system. There was no way I could get the ATC, and reverse sensors and no upgraded sound.

I will be keeping the factory head unit with navigation but will be replacing everything else.

Component speakers will be going in the doors and subs under the rear seat. I will not be using the dash or the "sound bar" in the rear ceiling for any speaker locations.

I look forward to getting the work done, I just am waiting for a convenient time to give my truck up for a week.

It will take a week because they are building a custom fiberglasss enclouser for the subs under the rear seat, amp racks and installing Dynamat in the doors.

I was somewhat particular so I didn`t have much of an option with the 9 speaker upgrade. I actually like installing the stereo system, hobby that is. I`m going to replace everything, not cheap but oh well, . Thanks for all the comments though. I`m actually picking up the truck this Saturday, . Pretty exciting.
