Hello, I just bought a slt crew sport and before I start buying speakers, I was wondering what the sizes are. I bought the upgraded system with the 9 piece alpine/sub and amp.

anyone know what they are?

I'm not sure on the sizes for all the speakers, but if you go to www.crutchfield.com they will show you what will fit and what won't. They are really good too. I've bought from them many times.

Last I checked Crutchfield doesn't have the sizes.

The doors are 6x9 front and rear. The dash (3) and roof (2) are 3 1/2" rounds.

So you went with the upgraded Alpine system and you're still replacing all of the speakers? Let us know what you decide with and how much better you think it really sounds.

yeah I'm not sure why you would wanna upgrade the upgraded sound system, but I just went to crutchfield.com yesturday and they had a pretty good selection for speakers. I'm not sure they will sound any better, but it's your money to waste.

Alpine upgraded system is all paper coned speaker, you can definitely do better with aftermarket. As far as the sub, you'll have to deal with it until someone makes one to replace the stock. Look for MTX to make the first replacement sub, you can't just put any sub that fits in there.

I agree, very few "upgraded" stock systems cannot be upgraded further with some aftermarket speakers - and not even the expensive stuff. The stock paper speakers are very limited in the sounds they can produce, they are made to apeal to the mass market.

I agree that there is always something better, but is it really gonna make that big of a difference for the money you're gonna be spending? Not to me.

If you want to stick with Alpine, you can get great aftermarket speakers without spending a lot. The Type R's are really good speakers. Anything with titanium cones, or something other than paper would sound great. I have always been an Infinity fan, but I'll most likely upgrade to Alpine Type R or Kicker.

Wow some human ears just need to have perfection. LOL Like someone else said it's your money to waste. I don't have but the test driver had the Alpine and it rocked. Is there not a 9 speaker Kicker upgrade in the Mopar accessories. Where in the roof are 2 speakers
