I had intended on ordering the quad but the rebates were higher on the crew. I ended up ordering the crew $900 cheaper than the quad. I'm glad I got the crew now that I have it. I like the extra room. It doesn't appear to be that big of a deal to install it. Even with the $200 for the floor I'm still better off.

Well, I got the floor installed. I submitted a DIY to 94rt10ohio for posting in the DIY section. Took about an hour to install. Here are a few pics until the DIY gets posted. Mopar kit #82209986.

Thumbs up

Awsome. I really miss my fold outs. So, even with the sub, you can use the fold outs. I am going to consider doing this on my CC. Congrats, you will really enjoy the mod.

Sub is not a problem. The pics on page 1 of blue2050's quad cab shows the factory installed floor with a sub. I mounted the sub brackets on top of the floor brackets the same as in his photos.

Why did that not come standard on all the 09's, my god that does not take up any more space than the lids, and it expands the capibility of the truck. Are they new or salvage?

I'm guessing it's because they don't cover the entire floor on the crew cab. I agree it should have been an option from the factory.

Looks great man! Thanks for the pics too! If you get tired of looking at the original tray in your garage just shoot me a PM. My truck didn't come with it.
