I have more detailed pics in the DIY I submitted. When it gets posted I will let everyone know. As far as the original lids go, I'm going to hang on to them for now. I'm not sure they will work on a rear bench seat. It depends how your floor brackets are made. They attach to the floor brackets of each seat on the 60/40.

Damn. I'm definitely going to have to get that mod. I haul a box or two everyday in the back and they always sit tipped b/c the floor doesn't have an area level enough for the box and I don't want to sit it on top of the seats. I really miss that from my '07. I almost bought the QC but my salesman convinced me to get the CC and I'm glad I did, and once I have this I'll be even more glad.

I guess some of the '05s had the fold flat floor as well? But it wasn't carpeted?

My 02 QC had the corrigated steel floor that I liked more than the carpet, but the carpet will be fine. I am going to do this mod as well. It works great when you have some boxes and other large items that you don't want in the bed.

I think the carpeted version came out in the 06 or 07 models, not sure. The previous versions were not carpeted. The only kit available from Mopar is the carpeted one. I couldn't find any salvage yards around here with that new of trucks so I ordered one from the dealer.

Will this work without the 60/40 rear seats? Mine are the one piece folding rear seats. It doesn't appear that it will, but thought I would ask. When I purchased the truck, I had the dealer add this part because I have two large dogs that often go with me on errands, etc. However, I went there to get them installed today and they tell me they don't make the fold flat floor for the Crew Cab. I was pretty annoyed as this was pretty important for me. Now it looks like I may have to fabricate something up out of some plywood. Thanks.

It's true they don't make this for a crew cab. However, the rear 60/40 seat brackets are the same for the quad and crew. This enables you to install it in the crew. Part number is 82209986. Review my DIY at https://dodgeforum.com/forum/diy-do-...ionetwork.html If your rear bench has the center seat brackets as shown in the photos, it will work. If you don't have those brackets I doubt it will unless you fabricate a bracket to mount the inner bolts. If your dealer owes you one of these as part of your deal, make him order you one. If you are not able to install it, I'm sure someone on here with a crew cab will buy it off of you.

If anyone is yet to order one of these, there is a $40 MIR from Mopar for a $200 purchase. Make sure you put 05, 06, or 07 on the form where it asks you what vehicle you own. http://mopar.com/refreshyourride/index.html

Thanks Bubba. However, mine does not have the interior brackets. The dealer is going to cut me a check (which i will be using for a tonneau cover now). I'm going to take a crack at fabricating a cover out of plywood and some auto carpet. I figure I could fabricate something pretty decent and with the carpeting it should look pretty good. The plan is to use a jigsaw to cut it and then install some 1x1s or smaller on the bottom front and sides to hold it in place. Then cover it in black auto carpet. I was thinking of installing hinges, but that may be overkill. I'll post pictures when complete. Wish me luck, as this is not my forte really, but I think I can pull it off. The bike rack that I made came out as expected, so we'll see...
