It is just the standard MOPAR camera. There is only one available for our trucks and should be between 235 and 275. The installation I am sure will vary from dealer to dealer, but shouldn't be over a few hours labor I am sure. Also, it comes with the tailgate handle and new lock.

The dealership will have to hook it up to their computer to "activate" the feature and let your truck know it is there unless you have a lockpick or Navtv.

Anybody getting their cams yet?

 

At the end of January I ordered my Rear Camera, when it came in the beginning of Feb. I contacted my sales rep. for my truck and had him qoute a price for the camera & install. The dealer qouted me a price of $350.00. After installation the dealer told me if any other truck gets this they would charge $550.00.

 

My uncle took delivery of his 2 weeks ago in Canada. Don't know if he wants his town named????? Anyway, he just told me. He sold his old handle with lock for 5 bucks to a guy at the dealership......man I wish I would have known I wanted that. I haven't installed my Pace Edwards lock yet. Maybe I should hold out there might be some handles with locks for sale, what do I care if the key fits i would put the power to it anyway.

 

Found out the second shipment of 100 won't be until June 9.

 

I just placed my order at the beginning of the week, The guy at the parts counter told me there was 92 on B/O (canada). I will patiently wait .....

 

Talked to my dealer today & he said mine was in detroit and should have next week.

 

Could someone post the part number? Will make phone around easier.

Dealer could not give me the price b/c they could not look up the part number.
