I wrote a letter to Chrysler asking them if there were any differences. I just got off the phone and according to Chrysler the ONLY different between the TRX and Non TRX 4x4 rams is the TRX-4 has a heavy duty shock absorber in the rear. There are no other suspension differences.

All 3 have stated a difference, and a previous thread showed there was different heights between 4x4 and TRX4
Still too much conflicting information to trust a phone call. The only way I would be convinced is to see the parts manuals or to read about a difference or no difference in a reputable magazine.

You must have spoke to a IDIOT since the front and rear shocks/struts are different, and the TRX4 has skid plates and a few other things.

Just passing the word on. I asked strictly about suspension, so no need to mention all the other differences. Can you get a picture of the struts from each vehicle side by side so we can see the differences and settle this. Your the only one who has said the struts are different that I know of, who knows, could the person who showed you the two struts have been an idiot and holding the wrong one?

I'm not sure how else to find out besides the company that actually built the truck.

I knew what you meant.

I just so happened to have a front strut pic. Let me know if you want it closer.
