Default Hauling ATV in short Bed

Just thought I would post what my buddy and I came up with to haul our ATV's in the shorter beds and keep the weight off of the tailgate.

If I were you I'd get a patent on that idea right damn quick. I'm sure that there's more than a few trucks that would want/need that!

Default fantastic

That looks fantastic! Are those pieces of plate hinged on the 2x2 so that you can use them as ramps?

Thumbs down

Hitch contraption is a pointless waste of time/material!
Bedrug...hilarious...do ya powerwash and blow dry the ATV before ya load
Let's see the matching tailgate bypass loading ramp?

Funny, looks like the sheet metal is bending and at least 90% of the weight (in the rear anyhow) is still on the tailgate, seems like a waste of time and effort to me!!

The tailgate should handle an atv no problem

Not exactly a new idea, and I agree that it looks like the aluminum diamond plate is not really supporting much of anything, especially if you hit a bump.

They've made a similiar thing to help haul longer pieces of wood in the bed for at least 20 years
