We do have a pretty smart remote start system. Will not start if there are doors ajar, hood ajar, or ANY check engine or warning indicator on.

So I had my truck in at the dealer's yesterday and it turns out that the check engine light or the MIL as they call it had gone on b/c of a moisture sensor related to the RRT for the washer solvent sensor weepage. So, that was fixed along with a few other RRTs and I was good to go. There were no engine problems whatsoever. Here's the list of what was done:

RRT 09-010 - Washer Solvent Sensor Weepage - Install sensors and overlay

RRT 09-020 - Rear Axle Vent Hose Retaining Clip - Secure axle retaining clip vent

RRT 09-023 - Flash: Park Assist Module - Flash PTS Module

RRT 09-035 - Tailgate Spoiler Modification - Tailgate spoiler modification

All that speculation and it was a little washer fluid....

Everyone should take their trucks in to get the RRTs done. They will NOT notify you. This is part of the owning a new model the first year. The earlier the build, the more RRTs you will have.

I have the same issue but have had all the RRTs done. I'm on a first name basis with the service manager there. So far they've replaced the throttle body, fuel injectors, MAP/Mass airflow (can't remember which one), re-maps, and now after some research on my own it seems to be the short runner valve. Under heavy acceleration, light comes on, gas mileage goes to **** and then goes off after a while. Take it in and they try to say its bad gas...for 2 years now! Oh yeah...the transmission has been replaced too.
