Is this for the Ram? Do you have a thread about it? How does it work for you?

That programmer is the same part number for the 2003 through the 2009. The only dyno chart they show is for a 2003.

i agree with this 10,000%
Out of curiosity, was the Ford a MAF or MAP system?

Did you have a wideband to show the lean condition or did you check the plugs?

this is the product i speak of sarguy... im not sure of maf or mapp though

http://www.edgeproducts.com/product.php?pk=90&pvk=277

and i was going by the information i got off a forum (like this one) in which an actual member of the edge evolution design team frequented.

He has a great reputation around the forum and was one of the designers of the Edge.

here is a page i found on that site real quick where they are recommending the guy and giving a link to the company he founded upon leaving Edge

The Edge looks great! Again, I wish someone would come out with something specifically designed for the 2009 Hemi, not a model from a few years ago that happens to plug in as well.

The Ford's use a MAF on the 04 and up. I had assumed, incorrectly, when I saw a unit plugged into the intake tube the hemi had a MAF ).

I am wondering if this is why it went lean??

I came here from the F150 world and the custom tunes were the only way to go. For a canned tune, Edge wasn't a bad option since you could easily up the timing for higher octane fuel and shift pressures among other user options. The others were not much to brag about but never heard good or bad on the bullydog for gas applications. How is it ?

if your referring to what i think you are.. then the chip/sensor/rectangle thing goes into the drivers side of the throttle body on the ford. on the new rams the sensor is in the tubing up front...

For us, the sensor in the tube up front is the intake temp sensor.

MAF = Mass Air Flow

MAP = Manifold Absolute Pressure

yup, so 'in theory here' I'm guessing we have no worries that another intake will cause the Ram to run lean... ( on the Ford with a MAF installed in the intake tube, by installing a bigger air tube, there is less air velocity across the MAF sampling area, thus the MAF reports less air flow to the PCM, the PCM cuts the fuel rate, and now you have your lean condition ).
