Leveling Kit question
I did the Rough Country lift on my TRX and the front was a tad higher. I installed another 1" coil spacer on the top coils in addition to the 3/4" spacer on the bottom of the coil (please do not lecture me on this, we had this discussion in another forum and found no actual proof or reason why it would be "unsafe) and my truck now sits level. I thought the reason my truck was not level though was because the TRX apparently sits a tad higher from the factory than the other models and RC did not do any research before they released their leveling kit.
I had read about the 1/4" stackable spacers that come with the Pro-Comp lift on this forum before, and recalled that they had been purchased at 4-wheelparts.com. I called 4-wheelparts today and the person I talked to had never heard of these stackable spacers. He called Pro-Comp while I was on the phone and asked them about the 1/4" stackable spacers, and was told by Pro-Comp that they do not make such an item, and that they "would never recommend stacking spacers".
So whats the deal with these 1/4" stackable spacers? I want to buy a set of them, but have no idea what they are called, what the part numbers are, or who sells them. Anybody that can provide this information would help out a lot of us that have trucks that sit front end high after a "leveling" kit has been installed.

They are part of the 6" lift.

Yes, that was me. I bought a set of 3" body lift pucks off ebay for $30, and cut them into two sets of shorter pucks. One set is 1 1/8" tall, and we installed them on my son's GMC Canyon pickup last night. We need to raise his bumper mounts tonight, and then that truck is finished and I can start on my Ram. The other set of body lift pucks is now 1 3/4" tall, which is the most I can move the bumpers on the Ram without having to remake bumper mounts. I ordered the longer body mount bolts for the Ram yesterday, and they will be here on Monday, so I plan on starting on the 1 3/4" body lift next week. I'll take pictures of the bumper mount modifications, and post before and after pics of the truck when I'm done.
