Found it, it was jammed right below the hu, under the wires. That was a pain.

Nother question? Can you use the sirius antenna and hook it up to an after market sirius tuner? I do not need it, but would be good on trips.

Now to figure out how to upgrade my sub, the alpine R series 1243 12" does not fit in my box, and it might be a little under powered if it did. I do not know if I will find out. So far, the stereo sound awesome, if I do say so myself, but my sub is over 10 years old.

thanks for the suggestions.

sounds like a good setup, i feel your pain on the upgrade business i started with all mid grade Memphis and am now switching all over to Polk. Put the Momo MM691's front and back and putting two SR124DVC's with a PA 1200.1 in a custom box next week. If you want the type R alpine you should look at their pancake sub the SWR series, almost the same specs as the Type R full size just in a thin woofer design.

angel85: Looks like custom fiberglass box is the way to go. I will have to have someone make it for me for risk of wasting time and money messing it up. I already have the type r full size, i really want the 23 hrz.

I will put up pictures when all done.

Jeeez, where are you putting 13" subs?

JL's are great subs, but I was going to go with 10"s.

the plan is to lift the backseat up 2 inches and build a box similar to the prefabbed ones but two inches taller and going all the way to the back wall. keep in mind the 13tw5 has a mounting depth of 2.5" and fits in a hole barely bigger than a standard 12" sub

LOL, forgot to post pics, just got them broke in and turned up they sound great. i will need to remake the brackets for the back of the seats if you use the same height as the stock brackets your seats will rest on the back glass so they are spaced with MDF for now.
