MOPAR CAI on order
There is nothing wrong with the mopar. Some people just dont have anything nice to say. I think you could get a better deal if you look around. And yes the Volant is nice but I myself would stay mopar for warranty reasons.

i got mine for free... na ana na anana anna na na na na lol
but in all honesty... i cant tell that much a difference between the Mopar CAI and the XDI i had on before it.
Had i bought this to replace my stock filter i would be happy. but if i bought it thinking it would be better than my XDI.. i would be pissed i blew $400+

I was checking out various mods to the engine and found a 90 mm throtle body from arrington and the web site states:
"**Tuning suggested/required. The throttle body should be calibrated to your vehicle by your local dealer. This unit flows 178 CFM over stock. A lean Air/Fuel ratio can cause catastrophic engine damage! because of the increase in air flow."
So doe an increase in air flow (CAI) increase enough to cause a lean condition and require a dealer tune??
Never thought about it till after the read at arrington.

i'm not sure if that's true either, i put a throttle body spacer on my 09 hemi sport and mpg went up 1.5 to 16 in the city during the summer, and it never fluctuated back down even after 5 tanks or more.
