Janet, if its got a blue plug end it probably won't work. Seemingly the dealers are just assuming the 09 version works. Let us know the part number though in case it does fit.

Default Trailer Brake

Uh oh, the end is blue. I talked with the Dealer today and they said they cannot get the trailer brake controller, but did have the pigtail. We got the pigtail from the Dealer when we bought the truck. We ordered a Tekonsha prodigy P3 from E-trailer. Should arrive in about a week. I sure hope the pigtail will work as we are getting short on time. The part number is PN56045795AB Rev: A1 Thanks!

Unfortunately, it's the wrong pigtail. That's the old style.

Ok, I got the Curt harness in, the grey plug matches up to the one in my picture on my previous post here, and all I did was cut off the end that connects to Curts controller and then connect to my controller using butt connectors. Works just fine. All wires were color coded the same, I'll assume they are standard color coding. If not refer to your controllers mannual.

Hope this helps until Dodge gets the part out there. I plan to mod my pocket and put the controller in where the oem would fit. Heres a pic of the old style plug and new one. Mine was white but fit into the standard old blue plug. And yes I tested it connected to one of my trailers.

Only problem is the OEM requires the computer to be flashed and to be honest, if they can't find the parts, I don't trust them to flash the truck. Plus using my old controller I'm only 19 bucks into it, LOL. Still curious to see where they are though.

I hope this works. My dealer told me it couldn't be added.
