So i finally got around to adding the diablo tune. I only added the 87 tune for now. As soon as i left the parking lot where i was sitting i noticed the fuel saver light on when i let off of the gas.. The build date is Feb 09. alot have said that those early trucks dont have the light but they are wrong.. i can take pictures and post here if anyone thinks i am wrong. I am not sure if the actual "tune" gave me the light or the update i had to do before the tune. So anyway, thought it was kinda cool and thought i would share..

 

That's wild, I've got a 10/08 build. Must be some "soft switch" or setting that isn't enabled on the early builds - and of course, the dealer hasn't the knowledge/training to figure out. How's the predator responding for you?

the light is really easy to notice.. showed up in the box next to the low fuel indicator.. not sure how it's going to work just yet.. i was in the parking lot across the street from where i work when i added the tune.. just did it while i was eating lunch... i will try it out tonight and see if i can notice anything..

 

A feb 09 truck should've have the light anyway. It must've been turned off in the EVIC options and the predator turned it on. Did you ever look in the options menu to see if you had the light prior to this?

 

Which dash do you have, I have the plane one you must have the evic with the onboard mpg and temp on iot.

i have gone through all the settings before the tune and never even had the ability to turn it on.. the option just wasn't there.... yes i was looking in the right place. i am thinking it has to do with the crom thing i downloaded from diablo sport.. i think it's 9.06. i had to actually update my truck before i could add the tune. the update took probably 20-30 minutes.. what ever the predator did is the reason i have the fuel saver light now.. for sure
