I'm not saying anyone's doing that, but you know how this stuff goes down.
One of the 2004 beta tester's has tested at the track using SC's time and distance data-logging feature.

I ran my truck down the track knowing my speedo was dead nuts accurate and i had it in 4wd so i know it was not going to spin and all three runs it was exactly .05 slow. I ran a 14.31 according to the track, sc said 14.36 next run, 14.36 superchips said 14.41
It's within .05 of his track times just about every time he runs. It's a pretty accurate tool. No one is saying everyone will run times like these, but it can be done.

I'm not saying anyone's doing that, but you know how this stuff goes down. Next thing you know we'll be reading about how it's a fact that the SC takes .6 tenths off your 1/4 mile time, and if it doesn't guys will get pissed. I'll be interested to see 2 trucks with the same setup run in the same conditions, one stock and one tuned. The handheld times alone don't do much for me.

I hear ya! My 1/4 mile (14.8) time was at an actual track.

Try the tuning. You may be closer to 14.

I know they can be accurate, they just always aren't. I've seen other guys say they varied from dead nuts to being off by a second and a half. I'm not trying to downplay what seem to be pretty decent gains, but I'm not gonna get too excited until I see before/after track times. I'd be beyond thrilled with 3 tenths in my r/t.

Hey all just thought I'd post my first impressions of my Superchips tuner.
MDS:OFF
1-2 WOT 5950
2-3 WOT 5850
Redline: 6100
High Speed Fan 215 degress
Speed limiter 135mph
Correction to 4.10 Gears

I just loaded the 09 tune for my truck and all i can say is "wholly cow" The tune is Dyno`d for 41hp and 38 lbps/tq with the 91 and 93 oct tune. i used the 91 and you can really feel the difference. I went to Arcadia on a 2 lane road and was passing cars like a mad man. The power it delivers at 65+ mph feels like i was in my Daytona Charger again. Hard to believe the truck weighs 1500 bls more. Will post more as i drive it more.

Sure rub it in to all of us dummies who didn't check the gear ratio. The only thing I didn't look at til after the fact. Oh well.
