What does WOT stand for? Is there a 91 octane tune for the 2009 rams. I live in the Midwest and all they have is 91 premium. Has anyone taken their truck to the dealer after they've used the Superchips Programmer? Any problems?

Ok, thanks. I know the owner said there shouldn't be a problem with the powertrain warranty being affected, but what do you guys think? Would the dealers be able to trace a problem back to the programmer?

once you plug it up, it will save your stock tune. before you take it back to the dealership, replace the stock tune back on the truck a few days before. if the dealership runs it with the superchips tune on it, it will void your warranty. better to not risk it and change it back to stock tune before you take it in.

Yeah, and if you have to take it back to the stealership for some reason after having just reset the computer, if they ask why the computer was recently reset, just tell them that you reset it as a first attempt to fix whatever issue you were having. But if you drive it for a couple days first before you take it in, that should be enough run time to look like it hasn't been reset.

How about installing the 93 oct tune, but driving around with 87 oct in the tank, but add a water/alcohol injection system so that you only need the detonation suppression only when you need (WOT, for example) it?

SWEEEEEEEEEET! i had to send my truck data to Superchips yesterday evening. i got an email back from them late this morning saying that my data is ready to update my programmer with. i got home, hooked up to the computer, downloaded it on my programmer, and out to the truck. easy install, followed the tune that SilsHemi gave me, (thank you) and done! took it out to try it, and WOW! nice get up and go! hard to not punch it everytime i get the green light. im just waiting for some punk to pull up next to me in another truck to put him in his place!

So the Flashpaq I'm looking at says '03 - '09 Ram, but there's a Cortex for only $50 more that says '04 - '08. Two questions:

Is the Cortex worth the extra $50? And will the '04 - '08 work on this truck?
