2009 Ram Hemi Superchips Tuning Released
I have mine working. After searching the web on my error I came up empty, but was not going to leave it all hooked up and running until tomorrow, so I just ran through the update again. All went OK.
I was able to find the update under vehcile 1 within the software. You do have to enter a credit card, but it does not charge you if you use the code. The only recommendation I have for the person who did not see anything under vehicle 1.... Update your flash player @ adobe.com as it appears that screen is flash.
I then started into the schedules. Was going to use the examples from the link provided, but they do not work. Yes, I grabbed the 09, but when I started setting them up the values on the worksheet were not possible on the tuner (the range was not big enough to use the values in the sheet). So I left it SC and just set TM to 10%. Not sure what SC TM %'s are, but does not really feel different from the canned tune, so I am guessing it is close. As before mentioned gearing may have an impact here.
Another note, I noticed my tires were set to 31.5", not sure if I did that or not, but you may want to check yours. 20" tires are 33". Disappointing as that will impact my times I recorded earlier.
As for re-visiting the shift schedules, not sure I will mess with them. Way to many things to mess up. Y'all can do it and report your stories/settings.

ok, 1.5 hours later and done, including the test ride ( aka: test beat ). Only did the TM options, kept the superchips trans schedules. Man, there is a lot of TM settings to knock down to 8%. The stock settings are at 60-85% for all of them, WOT and the partials.
While I was at it, also set the 1-2 shift up 50 to 5950 and 2-3 to 5900. Nice firm shift and keeps pulling throughout the shift. Noticeable difference compared to prior.
Now to learn some of these throttle position settings under trans schedule. Too much to play with this time of night, be great if someone could recommend one of the user settings to go with. Thought I would be good with just TM but Sil's feedback on the trans schedules make you wonder what we may be missing here.

that's kind of what I thought when I looked in there.
So I think I may have diagnosed my own problem - the Superchips updater uses IE? I can't seem to get it to use anything else. Anyways, I'm running Windows 7 64-bit, and the latest version of Flash is not supported on 64-bit browsers, so the page is coming up blank. What do I do now? Am I getting punished for running a 64-bit OS?
