Ok, I finally got it to download. Many thanks to Sil. Don't know what exactly fixed it, but do know that Sil was very helpful. Great service. Now to burn off this 87 (had to drive to Houston & back today) and reprogram the truck.

Question in regards to following the shift schedule - I'm running 305/50/20 tires, so my speedo was off for the first 25,000 miles (racking up some extra miles). So, when I got the Superchips, I set it in the other direction, to make up for those extra miles. If the speedo's not accurate, then the shift schedule won't be accurate, will it? I'll need to adjust for the difference?

Make sure you re-check your values. Always use save/exit in your individual values and when exiting the menu. You should notice a good bit of difference. I would re-check the numbers.

You're correct. Speedo should be accurate.

ok i will try to give my first impression of this awesome new upgrade!

i have a 09 QC sport 4x4 3.55 rear end.
mufflex 14" magnaflow muffler, k&n drop in air filter.

i was running the 93 oct. tune.
i downloaded the new tune. stayed with the 93 oct. tune and the "superchips" tuning on everything else. torque management, shift schedule etc.

all i can say is WOW F'IN WOW!!! IMHO, its as big of an upgrade as when i first put the tuner on, over stock!!

before , with my wimpy gearing i could barely spin the tires with the 93 tune, and esp off. now i almost feel like the 3.92 guys, spinnin em for about 15ft or so. (was about 70deg. out today in MI.)

and this was with the "canned TQ MANAGEMENT values".

after asking SILSHEMI, i know how to adjust the torque management. you can adjust ONLY the torque management and still use the "superchips canned shift schedule". so im thinking by moving all the torque values to 8% might be even better yet than what i already have!

way to go superchips.

BIGTEXMARINE. i hope this sums it up for you. if i were you i would just load the 93 tune, pick superchips shift schedule, and torque management and your good to go. worlds of diff.

SILSHEMI.

what do you think the "superchips" TM settings are % when you pick from the menu? is it close to 8% like when you do it yourself under "user" ?

i assumed the values you start off with (80%) etc. were stock settings?

Crod, thanks for the input. i use the 93 tune myself. i think i will go with the SC shift schedule at first and then adjust the torque to 8%. hopefully that will do the trick to where i wont need anymore adjusting. does anyone know how far off the SC shift schedule is and the ones on the spreadsheets?

BTW, Sils, you da man! people ask so many questions, have the same issues that have already been answered 4 or 5 pages ago, and you still seem to be willing to help people out with all of their questions. i am sure that without you here for help, there would be alot of lost people here including me. kuddo's bro!

bigtex, even without the TQ set to 8% its a beast. im waiting on sils, response. im almost betting the superchips schedule is not far off from 8%......
