2009 Ram Hemi Superchips Tuning Released

Christian,
Try this schedule:
http://www.mcfail.net/superchips/09/...r_Schedule.xls
Enter all your values and recheck everything, using the save/exit function along the way. Then take it for a drive and tell me what you think.
The real beauty of this program is making your downshifts much more responsive.

no, i did the whole thing and thats the only difference i could see. Now does it matter that my numbers dont match the Mcfail data, my mph always end in a decimal with numbers behind it
I just wanted to take a minute and thank SIL publicly. He called me on the phone and got me all set up. HOLY $hit!!!! Totally worth the wait!!!! I think Superchips would be stupid not to hire him for tech support he is awesome!! Thanks SIL!!

So, as someone who doesn't yet have a Superchips device (and actually not even the truck yet, but it is coming), can someone walk me through what is required to take advantage of all this stuff that has been discussed? What device(s) do you have to buy, how do you use it or install it, and what do you have to do to set the options for best result? Is it like my PowerCommander on my VTX where I just download the map that best matches my config and preferences, or do you have to do a lot of independent experimenting to find the sweet spot, or does it just have the various 'modes' right in the device itself? How much $$ can I expect to burn through to end up with a good result? Is there anything else like a CAI or exhaust that is needed too or can the Superchips device be effective with just the stock truck?
Thanks,
Rob
Thanks,
Rob
I was totally under the impression that Sil worked for Superchips, had no idea he didn't since he seems to handle everything Superchip related on the board.

What year is your truck to be? If it's a 2010 5.7, support is being worked right now.
You'll need a Flashpaq 3865 and if you're interested, there's a user driven trans options you can upgrade to for $39.95. The programmer is easy to use. Plug it into the OBD port and follow the prompts. You can either quick tune, that does everything for you or advance tune where you can set your Rev limit, WOT shifts, disable MDS, etc or tune the transmission if you upgrade to the option previously mentioned.
Superchips is designed for a stock truck.
Thanks,
Sil
