2009 Ram Hemi Superchips Tuning Released
I noticed MYOUNG has a new schedule dated 3-31-2011 with OD OFF settings. I have not seen anyone's with the OD settings.
Has anyone used MYOUNG's schedule is it very aggressive, would it work for a daily driver?

To all: We're now up to database 510. Please update your tuner, re-tune and test if you can WOT shift above 6000 RPM.
If you can't, please send me your tuner serial number. Most everyone should now be covered in the database.
Thanks,
Sil

unfortunately, I did not reflash back to stock before doing this. Not good.... I tried to update it again, it now says programmer up to date, then same 404 error above. And Gas Truck DB says v506.
I have updated tuner a couple times and never an issue before. Has anyone else tried this..

ok, finally back to a successful update. Sil, I had the original SC 'easy update' software installed in my pc ( Vista 64 bit OS ) since purchasing the tuner in 2009 and have installed the trans option and updated tuner a few times with no issues. So I searched the Superchips forums and saw the staff was recommending updating to this new Superchips update software. So I uninstalled current one as suggested, then installed new one and they make you reregister your username etc.. again ( what's the deal with that ! ). Plugged in tuner but the USB drivers would not install so I had to find them on the PC and manually install the x64 ones and then I could then see the tuner model number and serial number finally display on PC screen, then it downloaded and I am now on v510 with what looked like a successful update. It also showed the trans package was still installed and programmer showed as 'tune installed' so I guess it's good to go and did not loose my factory tune due to the error in the middle of the update and hopefully the custom settings are still there cause that is a 20 minute ordeal to reenter the trans and torque.
These SC developers sure made this upgrade not one of their better ones, seems like a better upgrade plan for their customers to the new SC update software could have been coded instead of letting customer use the old one and throw an error in the middle of the update, and also correctly install the required drivers during the new install for the detected OS. I have no errors in the PC application event viewer log indicating a windows update issue. And like I said, I have used the SC easy update a few times with no problems ever in the past on this same PC ( tower, not a laptop and no wireless ), same tuner etc... Maybe it was just my PC but I have been a software developer for 20 years so I think there are some bugs in this SC updater needing to be ironed out for a a Vista 64 bit OS. I will reflash the truck tomorrow.
Hope you guys have an easier time that this or just leave it alone if you are happy with the way your truck is performing. I just had to play here.

Hey Sil, just wanted to post back, all is good, actually real good. I have always set shifts 1-2 and 2-3 at 6000 rpm so I cannot comment for guys going over this but my 1-2 shifts are definitely faster and a bit firmer. I think I am getting some tire chirps between the 1-2 shifts ( or I need to swap out the stock belt with a Gatorback serpentine belt ). Have not tested 2-3 shift yet but thought I would put a hit on this post since actually installing this latest database was not as smooth as the past ones but reflashing was just as smooth and all my settings were still completely intact. No worries and definitely worth the time spent !
thanks..

A few people who upgraded have noticed the differences you mentioned. Thanks for reporting all is well.

I encourage anyone with a 2009+ to upgrade your tuner and re-tune your truck.
Sil
Follow the instructions to install the new update software. Update tuner and then re-tune truck.

Sil
