Well I didn't do the TM upgrade because of the warranty issue (thanks for the heads up on that guys). I guess my question is those of you that did it. Are you really happy with the results and do you feel it was worth it? THX-Jay

i put the upgrade on my truck last night. i didnt change anything yet, just left it all superchips programmed. on the way to work this morning, i can definitely tell its there. it shifts alot smoother without the jerky reaction. you can hardly even feel it shift now.

With that said.... I think the upgrade should be FREE to Cortex users given they already paid more for a "warranty" they will no longer be able to use. By having to pay for the Cortex and the upgrade, well that is like double dipping on SC's part. Pay once, let the Cortex owner decide, warranty or Shift Schedule.
I totally agree but their should be some big bold disclaimer stating this. Also, I never even put the latest "user" update on the truck yet I downloaded it not knowing the warranty issue. I now voided my Cortex warranty that I wouldn't have if I had known this.

I cant speak for eveyone ,but if you read all of this and on 3 other forums, the general consensus, is we all love it, best thing bought yet for me,I know a few have had trouble,or couldnt get things to go right for them, but that is with any product, what do you look for in a product?
Warranty? - most manufacturers have some type
Easy to install ?-- most also do this
Definitly makes a change to vehicle? Please I drive mine every day its FANTASTIC-- shifts better- runs better -
Priced along with others?, NO ,I got mine alot cheaper than the other brands
Customer Service?-- if you read these threads you will see that SuperChips has great service, I e-mailed the company stupid questions I had, and rather than talk down to me they, e-mail back and explained what I needed to do.
THAT WILL SELL SOMETHING FOR ME FIRST , service or support ,beyond the cash register

I think it's crap that they can void your warranty without a clear disclaimer about that. I would have just bought a Flaspaq if I knew this was the case. I feel like Superchips owes me a partial refund.

All Superchips needs now is a fuel adjuster for the guys that are going to bigger cams and forced induction.
