Just make sure you plug it into the online updater again and it will send your file to Superchips. They'll e-mail you when it's ready.

Dumb question here, sorry first tuner for me as well. Mine is in the mail and should be here any day, just want to know the procedure before I get it and screw something up.

So when I get it, do I do the online update first or do i plug it to the truck and capture a file to send to superchips?

Update it online first, then plug it into your truck and try a stock read. If you receive the calibration needed message, just plug it into the online updater again. This will send your information off to Superchips so they can add your calibration. They'll e-mail you when the file is ready.

Angry the calibration for your vehicle is not currently supported

I can not even put into words the dissapointment I felt when i plugged the Cortex in and saw "the calibration for your vehicle is not currently supported" I am sooooo mad. I drove thru a blizzard in Vermont to get home and try it out. (I learned my lesson about messing with programmers when im far from home) Anyone know how long it takes for SC to get the calibration file?? Has anyone with this messag got thiers?

Sorry for the inconvenience but since we just released the 09 files the other day the only programmers that will have those files factory loaded are ones just coming off the line.

All you need to do is update your programmer online when you get to a PC. We should have most if not all the current files online and available. If we don't by chance turn around time is usually 24-48 hours.

Will the expanded trans options be part of a future release of the tune files and become available in the user adjustable parm's ? Never had a Superchips canned tune or these two flash devices, just SCT flash devices with custom dyno tunes on the Fords so I never has a need to mess with any settings.
