The Airaid MXP for the 2009 Hemi including the intake tube is $360.00 from Autoanything, which is a great site by the way. Without the intake tube it is $269.00 but the tube is critical in my eyes. The tube is currently ribbed for her pleasure not performance. Find me a complete Airaid MXP under $300 and I will mail you a real bottle of tequilla.

I just installed a Volant CAI, they swapped an elbow and straight T by accident in the box, but did send out the right parts within two days. I like th Volant A) The plastic composite material doesn't retain heat (From what they state, and from me seeing this after a one hour drive, not taking temp readings but feeling the material) B) The carbon look cover to the air filter looks very cool C) Price was about $50-60 cheaper than the mopar.
Autoanything has deals almost daily, and i paid $340 shipped for it.

Hey with the Volant is the top cover on the airbox removable? By looking at the pictures it looks like there are 4 screws, one on each corner, if you want to remove the top temporarily and let in some more air, no?

The top cover is held on with 4 screws and comes right off. I think its more of filter service item then letting more air in. It draws only cold air in from the fender well area which I think is better. Very nice unit - would recommend it.

How well does the Volant seal to the fenderwell area? It's really hard to tell without an installed pic. The Airaid looks like it seals very well, just like the factory filter which I like, but I would rather buy the Volant because of the completely sealed airbox.
