Doesnt seal too well at all, called dealer and was told it is that way because of the torque. Dont want it attached or will break when engine moves.

Its goes right into the factory punched holes in the fenderwell. Nice design.

What kind of MPG's are you seeing with you CAI and muffler? Which mufflex do you have. I am trying to decide between the 24 and 18. Thanks

Back on topic can't decide between Volant and K&N. Does one work better than the other? Is one better if your off roading in terms of keeping the dust out? Thanks

There is no noticeable HP gains at all from any CAI without tuning adjustments to your fuel parameters. Here is a recommendation, just get a K&N drop in high-flow filter for 55.00 and the superchips flashpaq from Cabela's for 299.00. About the same price and you will get more than just noise..

Default Volant CAI fit

Can you tell me the part # of your Voant CAI, you say it fits perfectly into the cut out in the wheel well. I and my son inlaw both have09 rams and the Volant CAI doesnt fit into the factory cut out. It sits slightly higher than the cut out leaving a 1 inch gap at the top. Dealer said this is normal.
