I installed my K&N Aircharger last weekend. I'll post the before and after video if anyone is interested. I'm actually going to take another clip as it seems that the sound is different after a week. It is amazingly loud when you get on it. It sounds really nice at half to 3/4 throttle, but a little bit of honk at full throttle. I'm thinking of going with a cat back exhaust to drown that out. I'll look here for recommendations, but I'm leaning toward magnaflow. As for Power, it does feel a tiny bit more responsive. Too soon to tell about any fuel savings.

The Cortech is due in tomorrow so that should make a little more difference.

At the moment the 4.10 ring and pinion is back ordered, but I expect that will make the most difference.

R/Ts responded different with the CAI than the other rams. I had a nice jump in power 20hp and 30ftlbs at 3600rpms that I can feel. But my peak power was alittle less making 11hp and 10ftlbs more. Was told this was because of my torque converter.

Mine will not attach either. Volant also forgot to mail a bracket. Mine is currently free floating. Is this normal? It sounds like some people are having an issue and some are not.

I am considering purchasing the K&N CAI for my 5.7L 2009 sport. I have a superchip already. Is this worth my time and money? Anyone have both that could comment?

Well, I have both, but I haven't been able to get my programmer to work. Open ticket now for 3 weeks with superchips. I'll let you know in a week or two. I think I have to send the coretex back.

Oh -- and after the latest ECM update at the dealer this week. No more preignition and the CAI sounds better now that the ECM isn't pulling spark back.

JPhemi... Do you know what update was done on your ECM? What build date is your truck? I'm still trying to get an update to smooth out the MDS system on my 09..

I'll look up the exact build date, but mine was around October. No MDS lite.

The tech said the update was for spark knock. It was a rapid response fix -- I did not receive the final paperwork -- only had written notes on the service ticket. I'll pick it up after they receive the updated WIN module for the remote start.

I can detect some roughness at light throttle, but it is only noticeable if you are really feathering it at 40 mph or so. Is that where yours is coming from?

Yea, 40 mph is where I notice it too, specially if I'm going up a slight incline. I also notice when I'm on a road with a 55mph limit when I accelerate the tach jumps up then back down, almost like a momentary slip in the converter. Doesn't do that if I bump the shifter over to kill the MDS.
