Geez, I paid about the same for V2.5. It's been in for about a month and I'm VERY pleased. Some people have complained about Coastaltech's support, but they've always answered my emails. No audio problems, and it activated all the "locked" features that normally require the Starscan tool...

BTW: Same seller.

I had issues with version 2 from this seller (audio issues/total cutout on right channel). Just got it exchanged for the version 3. Installed it last night. So far the only thing that isn't working is the ability to view the camera in any gear but reverse. (No big deal, as I don't know that I would use that option anyway.....but it is advertised that it works?) Are you guys able to hit the "Uconnect button" twice to view the reverse cam while driving?

Ok update, on my way to work today the audio is now cutting out on the driver's side front. All of my connections appear to be tight and the clips are connected. I love all of the features, but can't stand the sound of my stereo when one side is out. I'm at the end of my rope with this thing.

Ordered mine too for 189 they are from Coasteltech they advertise it on the page I also emailed them to ask why Coasteltech sells them for more money. They said they buy in bulk. Good enough for me. I ordered 2 cameras one for the front and one for the back,I park in handicapped spots and they are always the ones with the cement around them, hard to see when you pull in forward.
Oh man I hope this works. By the way there is an update for it already go to Coastaltechs page and get the software to update it and there is one update.

I had the exact same problem you were having and couldn't figure it out, it was only after some tinkering I realized the main connector connecting the stock cable into the lockpick is pretty crappy. When all connections seems tight they actually aren't, none of the clips lock into place. Vibrations from driving cause them to become unseated losing there connection to one or all speakers. What I did was get some zipties and tighten them down real good around the connectors and I haven had the problem since, and the audio sounds great.

When I put my truck in reverse I have to hit the brake pedal to view my back up camera, Do I have one of the wires crossed at the rear light?
