do u think this chip take a second away from the
quarter mile or not ?...
I didn't try it at the track yet without the tuner. I will try next time. I know the 22s take a bit of power, and my elevation is a killer as well. However, the tuner made a difference although I think it only makes a difference of a out half to three quarters of a second in the quarter. Also, I only have 5500kms on the truck so it may not be fully broke in yet.

Man I just got my truck back from the dealer (took the tune out first) and almost passed out when the tech told me he had to replace the PCM........(((WHAT)))!!!!!, I was so freaked , i e-mailed superchips asking for help, Ron told me they would help anyway they could to get it back in my truck, IF THAT IS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE ,I DONT KNOW WHAT IS.......wellllllllllllllllllllll..got the truck home and tried to put my tune back in and BAM!!!!!!!, it goes right in with no problem, trans tuning and all, WOW!!!!!!!!!was i relieved,it took it , I was so pleased, for it going in there with no problem, and S/C letting me know they were there to help, you better think about that if you are reading this and are wondering which tuner to purchase, SERVICE AFTER THE SALE,that is a chunk of change we spent on these things, good to know there is a company that wants to help.Of course you might never have a problem.....................I did

I had the dreaded P0038 and all the rest of the 02 sensor codes at the same time, that is what clues them into its the PCM, all the o2 sensors cant go out at once, they changed it, and I know the tuners are VIN locked, just nice to know they are not PCM part number locked.

Just an update on the group buy idea... I never got a response from Scott to my PM asking for contact info about the recommended dealers/distributors that might help us with the group buy. I'm not going to keep bugging him about it. Obviously he has other things to deal with. So, if anyone has other ideas about who to talk to in order to organize a group buy let me know.

And I'm still looking for info as to how the Cortex and Flashpaq differ. I can get the Flashpaq for $299 from Cabela's (plus more $$ off from their Visa points system that I have built up) and I may just go that way if the group buy doesn't pan out. But without knowing whether the Cortex is better I really can't choose...

Sorry Rob, was out with pneumonia for a few days so I wasn't able to reply till now. Check your PM for some ideas on dealers to poke for group buy's.

The Cortex differs from the Flashpaq by offering an OEM flex tuning option that allows you to tune not only your Ram but a Cummins Diesel or a HEMI LX car.

The Cortex also offers the original owner with a 2 year powertrain warranty for vehicles under 100K miles.

If you plan to take advantage of our advanced trans tuning I suggest going with the Flashaq which will save you some $$.

The Cortex warranty was nit built to work with the advanced trans tuning feature and will be voided if downloaded to that unit.
