The Flashpaq unit I just got through Cabela's was ready to go with nothing out of the ordinary for my 2010. The normal procedure is to update the unit through the Internet (via PC) before first use, then take it to the vehicle. I'm not sure whether that initial mandatory update process added the 2010 tuning or if it was in place right away, but you can't (aren't supposed to?) use it without that update anyway.

In any event, it was pretty painless. Painless, that is, once I realized I had to turn the ignition ALL the way on, not just to ACC. Doh!

Is the transmission tuning add-on available for the 2010s? I don't see it in the 'Superchips internet update' list of available options.

Yes, the advanced trans tuning is there. I used it on my 2010 and it works great. Look under Vehicle01 on your upgrades and you should see the trans option for $40. You give some credit card info and then it downloads to your tuner. You must have your tuner vinlocked (tuned) to your vehicle though.

I can't find that option under vehicle01 either.I called support, and was told to wait for the right update. Also unable to disable MDS.Not knowing how long it will take Superchip to complete this task"sucks".

My problem was that although I had connected the tuner to the truck and 'tuned' it, I had then set it back to stock so I could do some performance baselines before actually using the tune (that, and I needed to fill up with 91+ octane). Once I re-tuned the truck and left it in place and then brought the tuner back to the computer the transmission option does show up in the upgrades section of 'Vehicle 01'. Thanks for the tip, Dustin.

Side question: Is there a way to download the 'best times' performance data to the PC? Or can you only view it on the programmer while connected to the truck?

Shoot me a PM with your tuner SN. I will personally look into this for you.

The DAQ 2 data that reads real time sensors is the only feature currently available that offers an option to store the data to the PC.

I will make a recommendation on your behalf to management on the other option since you showed interest.

I had something strange happen to me the other day on the highway. The torque converter didn't seem to want to lock up. It was revving at 2300rpm at 120kph on an hour long trip. On the way back, it way revving at 2000rpm at 120kph, just like it usually does. It didn't do this before I installed the advanced trans tuning. Just wondering if anyone else has seen this happen.
