More torque, but at what rpm? Lower? Same 4000 as the stock 09-10 hemi? Funny how the Challengers are rated at a higher rpm, right? Very few mods will raise low to mid range power, all about the max rpm. Great for the drags, not much for towing, not that I'm complaining about my stock engine, but I live in the hills. As for the torque management, is that only in 1st gear? Or 2nd as well? For the first time I nailed mine from a stop recently, and you could feel it, however it feels great at 65 mph. Plenty power there. Not much downshifting to get up the hills unless you nail it. Gotta be the big reason the comparisons wanna say a Tundra will beat a Ram off the line. But from a stop is not a big deal to me...45 mph and up.

Thanks Scott! I got the dealer info via PM and will follow up with them to see what can be worked out.

Thanks also for the details on Cortex v. Flashpaq. Good info to know.

Hope you're feeling better!

Decided to go with the SC 3865. Installed the Mopar CAI and tuned to the quick performance 91 and then the 93. Not much difference as far as I can tell between the two, need to get into the advanced settings and play with them. Any suggestions for settings?? Any advice is appreciated

Update on group buy: I got one response from a reseller. They are interested but apparently Superchips just "reinstated their MVP pricing policies", meaning they contractually cannot sell for less than $339 unless they can get an exception from Superchips. The VP of Sales at this reseller is going to talk to Superchips to see if they can get an exception. I'll update again when I know more.

As a side note on the purchase topic, if you have a Cabela's Visa card PM me and I'll give you info on a great deal on the Flashpaq (expires 6/28).

I've heard nothing further back regarding the group buy idea. I'm giving up on it. Sorry guys.

That sucks, and frustrating at the same time.

Here's a deal that is probably as good as a group buy. If you buy from Cabela's you can get the Flashpaq for $279.99. You have to add it to your cart to see the $299 price and you need to use the link from the big ad on their main page to get another $20 off a $150+ purchase. If you have a Cabela's retail store nearby you can also get free 'shipping to store'.

ETA: You might even be able to walk into a Cabela's retail store and have them match the $299 price. The $20 coupon is good in stores and on-line.

Have fun!
