Default Group buy on SuperChips

If you have been thinking about getting the SuperChips programmer (Flashpaq or Cortex) this may be your opportunity. Working with one of the resellers that Scott@SuperChips pointed me to I have received their agreement to do a group buy. Apparently this was complicated by the recent pricing policy change by SuperChips to have their 'MVP' resellers stick to a set price.

Anyway, here are the details of the group buy. Full info on how to order will be updated on 7/12, so don't try to order now.

Effective dates – July 12-23, 2010
Part numbers – 3865 Flashpaq & 3950 Cortex (only)
Discount – 10% off of MVP retail pricing. Final pricing would be $305.99 on the 3865 & $341.99 on the 3950.

This is a special offer coordinated between TruckCustomizers.com and SuperChips, and is being offered only thru the three larger Dodge Truck forums, including DodgeForum.com

Check back on 7/12 for ordering details.

Thanks,
Rob

they must have jacked prices up, I got the flashpaq from truckcustomizers for 285.00. It was regularly 295.00 with an online coupon code of WINTER10. This was some months ago.

Yep, they recently set the minimum at $349 for Flashpaq. If you can find it elsewhere for less go for it. I'm just following up on the group buy opportunity that we started several weeks ago. Rob

This is what i get for sitting on the fence for the last few months. But $306 would be worth it since superchips put the hammer down on the vendors for pricing.

who does custom tuning for the SCT? I looked around the SE PA area and could not find anyone worth it that had experience tuning these new hemi's. Would have been nice to get the truck on the dyno and get a CAI tune built. That's about the only thing I miss about the F150, we had a good choice of custom tuners, they posted regularly on the forums and even the wife's Ford Edge was running a 93 octane CAI tune. Left a lot of the import guys scratching their heads when an Edge walked away from em..

I'm not sure. You'd have to check truckcustomizers.com web site to see if they ship to CA.

I'm betting it will. It will firm up the shifts and reduce the torque management so both of those will help lower 1/4 mile times.
