Default Throttle body modified

I had my stock throttle body modified a few mm larger and tapered and I can't believe how much better the throttle response is and also has more punch when I step on the gas. Best mod I did so far.

I have to agree. I bought one from modernmuscle.biz and I like the difference it made. They seem to specialize in Hemi engine power and know what they are doing. I received a very nice CNC'd unit.

So which one did you buy. Did you get the one for the 2005 ram?

Fastman Dan makes one to. I had a Fastman dan on my 02 5.9 and it was amazing. I hadn't even thought about this yet but I am adding it to my list now.

Here is the link to the Fastman Dan site

How about the 85/90mm BBK T/B's?

They claim over 20/20 increases over stock.

Good question.

No experience related data here but theoretically one would experience the same economy as with stock under normal driving conditions.

Only under WOT or close to it should the mpg drop due to more air and fuel delivery capacity than stock WOT.

I am not real sure. I called them up, discussed what I had and ordered it. When it arrived, the out side was identical to the one on my truck, but the inside was much smoother and shaped.

thanks. I will have to give them a call. So did you notice a difference off the line or up higher in the rpms. And have you had any issues at all with it so far?
