Honestly, how bad is driving noise with mud tires?

I have the Pro Comp Xtreme AT's and although they are not classified as a MT they are as aggressive as the toyo and Nittos MT's. Everyone said they were super quiet and they are at highway speeds. But rolling around town at 20-40mph you can hear them and the sound like a MT. I like to sound. Sounds like I think a a truck should sound.

I had BIAS PLY Super Swampers 33" on my little Xterra. When they were cold it sounded like a B-17 doing a fly-by! The ride was incredibly harsh when they were cold as they would develop a flat spot from sitting. I only put them on Club weekends....lowered the air pressure to 12psi and I could go anywhere with crawler gears and ARB airlockers.

I wouldn't waste my time with M/T's. A/T's are a better alternative in the snow.

I have to admit I enjoy how quiet the Ram is! No wind or Tire noise. Like ridin' in a damn Caddy!

Goodyear Kevlar MT/R is about the best all around aggressive tire for the road.

I have BFG Mud Terrain KM2s and they are a little louder than my BFG all terrains... not too much to make me not want to purchase them again.

Trail Grapplers are awesome....not loud at at all. I had Toyo Open Country MTs before. Big difference.

Any one use the entire life of the trail graps yet to give us an accurate guess on how long they last?
