Afe cai
Anyone know anything about AFE's CAI for our truck? My buddy from work just found this one a couple days ago and neither of us can make up our minds on what brand of intake we want. This intake has the highest gains I've seen from them all but since I really haven't heard anything about afe, I'm not sure about it.

I installed an AFE stage II CAI a few weeks back. Install was easy enough, about an hour because I took photos along the way.It uses very high quality powder coated metal parts. The filter sits over the bottom half of the stock air box and is isolated from the engine compartment by gaskets along the upper walls of the AFE air box. It definitely pulls harder through all RPM ranges, you will feel it. Also, it has an awesome growl that emanates from under the hood. I was going to buy the more expensive K&N until I found out it needs an oiled filter, the AFE is a dry filter. So far I am very happy with my AFE.

Nope, they're only listed under 2009 but the intakes are exactly the same so I don't know why they didn't add 2010 to the list.
Thanks Talon 66, I think I have this figured out now.
Here is what you get in the box:

I think the K&N is also a good choice, its just that the AFE is cheaper and perfroms just as well if not better and has the dry filter. My last run on SC logger was a 13.59 second quarter, I am thinking that this CAI has shaved a few tenths off that. Will make a few runs this afternoon and see.
